Abstract:
In the context of increasing the diversity of urban transportation vehicles, it is necessary to
expand the bicycle use due to the features which provide richness features to daily life, provide
benefits both individual and social environment and don't damage to the nature. There are very
few bicycle roads in Turkey and Antalya. Firstly, this condition requires correctly understanding
the importance of bicycle roads and their implementation.
In this study, the intended use of bicycle, the features of riders and their expectations, the
importance bicycle use and identify the problems of bicycle use have been developed with
questionnaires in Akdeniz University located in Konyaalti region.
