Rights and License
1. License
All articles published in the International Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Research (IJAER) are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This license allows users to share, copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal.
2. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain full copyright ownership of their articles published in IJAER without any restrictions or limitations. IJAER does not require or request any transfer of copyright from authors.
3. Author Warranties
The author(s) warrant that:
• The article is original, written solely by the stated author(s), and has not been previously published elsewhere.
• The article does not contain any unlawful statements or infringe upon the rights of others.
• The copyright for the article remains exclusively with the author(s) at all times.
• The author has obtained any necessary written permissions for using quoted material or third-party content in the article.
4. Publishing Agreement
IJAER operates under a non-exclusive publishing agreement. This means:
✓ Authors retain full copyright ownership without restrictions
✓ Authors retain all publishing rights
✓ No exclusive rights are granted to IJAER
✓ IJAER receives only the right of first publication
✓ Authors can republish their work anywhere immediately after publication
5. Author Rights
Authors retain unlimited rights over their published article, including:
• Complete copyright ownership and all proprietary rights
• Right to republish the entire work elsewhere, including commercially
• Right to deposit in any repository immediately without embargo
• Right to create derivative works based on the article
• Right to use the article in future works, lectures, books, and presentations
• Right to grant permissions to third parties for any use
• Right to modify, adapt, or translate the work
• Right to withdraw the article before publication
6. Publisher Rights
IJAER receives only:
• Non-exclusive right of first publication under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license
• Right to distribute the published version under the CC license terms
• Right to include the article in the journal’s archive and indexing services
IJAER does NOT receive:
• Any exclusive rights whatsoever
• Any copyright ownership
• Any rights that restrict the author’s use of their work
7. User Rights
Under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, users are permitted to:
• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
• Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for non-commercial purposes
• Attribute — provide appropriate credit to the original authors and journal
8. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors may deposit any version of their article (preprint, accepted manuscript, or published version) in:
• Institutional repositories
• Subject-specific repositories
• Personal websites
• Commercial platforms
• Social media platforms
No embargo period applies. Authors must include proper attribution to IJAER for the published version.
9. Commercial Use by Authors
Authors retain the right to use their work commercially, including:
• Selling republication rights to commercial publishers
• Including the work in commercial books or publications
• Using the work for commercial presentations or consultancy
• Any other commercial exploitation of their work
10. Co-Authorship
If the article was jointly prepared by multiple authors, the corresponding author warrants that they have been authorized by all co-authors to agree to these terms on their behalf.
11. Termination
This agreement may be terminated by the author at any time with written notice to IJAER. Termination does not affect the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license already granted to users for the published version.
12. No Royalties
No royalties or fees will be paid to authors. Authors retain the right to collect royalties from any commercial use they authorize.
