Repository Policy

The International Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Research (IJAER) supports the deposition of published articles in digital repositories to enhance accessibility and visibility of research outputs. Our repository policy aligns with the Sherpa/Romeo guidelines as follows:

  1. Preprint Archiving: Authors are encouraged to deposit preprints of their articles in repositories prior to submission to IJAER. This supports early dissemination of research findings and facilitates collaboration among researchers.
  2. Postprint Archiving (Author’s Accepted Manuscript): After publication in IJAER, authors may deposit the postprint version (Author’s Accepted Manuscript) of their article in repositories. This version can be made freely available after an embargo period, typically in line with publisher policies.
  3. Published Version: The final published version of articles, as formatted and published by IJAER, may be deposited in repositories under certain conditions. Please refer to our copyright and licensing information for specific permissions regarding the deposition of published versions.
  4. Embargo Period: Authors should adhere to any embargo periods specified by IJAER before depositing the postprint or published version in repositories. This ensures compliance with publisher policies and copyright agreements.
  5. Attribution and Linking: Authors depositing their work in repositories are required to provide proper attribution to the journal and include a link to the published version on the IJAER website.
  6. Non-commercial Use: Repositories must ensure that deposited articles are made available for non-commercial use only, in accordance with the journal’s open access policy and licensing terms.
