Right and License

1. License

All articles published in the International Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Research (IJAER) are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. This allows users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal.

2. Author Warranties

The author(s) warrant that:

  • The article is original, written solely by the stated author(s), and has not been previously published elsewhere.
  • The article does not contain any unlawful statements or infringe upon the rights of others.
  • The copyright for the article is exclusively vested in the author, and there are no third-party rights involved unless properly licensed.
  • The author has obtained any necessary written permissions for using quoted material or third-party content in the article.
3. User Rights

The primary objective of IJAER is to disseminate knowledge as freely as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, users are permitted to:

  • Copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes.
  • Attribute the original authors and the journal when using or distributing the work.
4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain the following rights over their published article:

  • Copyright and proprietary rights (e.g., patent rights).
  • The right to use the substance of the article in future works, including lectures and books.
  • The right to reproduce the article for personal use and to self-archive it.
  • The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the article’s published version (such as depositing it in institutional repositories or publishing it in a book), with proper acknowledgment of the article’s initial publication in IJAER.
  • The author holds a non-exclusive publishing agreement with the journal, allowing them to publish the article elsewhere, including commercially, without restrictions imposed by IJAER, regardless of the type of Creative Commons license applied.
5. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by multiple authors, the signing author warrants that they have been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf and agrees to inform the co-authors of the terms of this agreement.

6. Termination

This agreement may be terminated by either the author or IJAER upon providing two months’ notice, if the other party has materially breached the agreement and failed to remedy the breach within one month of receiving notice requesting such remedy. No breach will cause automatic termination of the agreement or affect the licensing granted under this policy.

7. Royalties

No royalties or fees will be paid to the author(s) under this agreement. To the extent legally permissible, the author waives the right to collect royalties in relation to the use of the article by the journal or its sublicensees.

8. Miscellaneous
